For October, we’re taking that one step further.
Our October theme is: Take Up Space.
Women in this industry are often great at doing the work, solving the problems, supporting the team and making things happen behind the scenes. But leadership also requires us to be visible. To share our ideas. To ask for what we need. To volunteer for the opportunity. To have the difficult conversation. To make sure our contributions—and the contributions of other women around us—aren’t overlooked.
Taking up space doesn’t mean being the loudest person in the room. It means believing you belong in the room in the first place.
